#024: What Happened To The Real Mario!?!
(Spaghetti Bolognese)
October 19th, 2018
This week we did our first episode from afar. There’s no stopping Food and Fury from getting you this amazing Bolognese Recipe! With an amazing dish from Smitten Kitchen based on Anne Burrell tips and an original recipe from Marcella Hazan, we are excited to bring you this amazing dish. We had a few audio issues, and have since moved to a different method of recording. Thank you for bearing with us at this time!
With a surprisingly short list of ingredients and a recipe that you will want to have time and time again, you will be blown away with the results. Heit reminisces about his honeymoon and a small wine store in Florence, Italy that serves up an amazing Bolognese at Gustavino Piazza Della Signoria. With a little inspiration, you can make this incredible dish at home with a reward better than most restaurants.
Levine explains about his family medical needs, Heit tries to help his wife and son save the mushroom kingdom and curls up with his switch to play 8-bit Zelda! We discuss how a man lost weight by playing Dance Dance Revolution, Old School Arcades (and Street Fighter 2), getting smothered, covered and chunked at The Waffle House and Hurricane Michael’s effect. We also discuss Halloween Candy Ranked with some of our favorites including Mary Jane’s, Chunky Bars, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and problems with Reeses Pieces Aftertaste. Chrissy Teigen teaches us about simmering, Heit recommends a method to deal with tied herbs and modifies the bolognese recipe for even better results! Listen to Episode #024 to be entertained on your commute and at the dinner table!
