Ovulation isn’t just about getting pregnant—it’s a vital sign of your overall health. When you ovulate, your body produces progesterone, the calming, balancing hormone that supports mood, metabolism, thyroid function, and deep sleep. A true ovulatory cycle is one of the clearest signs that your body feels safe, nourished, and in rhythm.

But here’s the thing: you can have a regular period and still not be ovulating. Many women experience a monthly bleed without ever releasing an egg. This episode helps you understand what’s really happening each month and how to recognize when your body is ovulating for real.

Your body gives clear signs when ovulation is happening:

Cervical mucus becomes clear, stretchy, and slippery like egg whites.

Basal body temperature rises about 0.4°F after ovulation and stays elevated until your next period.

Energy and libido often increase mid-cycle.

A positive LH surge indicates your body is preparing to release an egg.

If you’re missing these signs—or if your luteal phase (from ovulation to period) is shorter than 10–12 days—your body might not be ovulating consistently.

Instead of trying to fix everything at once, start by identifying where the most stress is showing up in your life this week—whether that’s physical, emotional, or mental. Chronic stress tells your body it’s unsafe, and when your body doesn’t feel safe, it often pauses ovulation.

✨ Your challenge: name one source of stress and focus on lowering it. Maybe that’s going to bed earlier, setting a boundary, or spending quiet time with God. When you create more safety and rest, your hormones naturally begin to balance, and ovulation follows.

Your body was designed with wisdom and rhythm. Ovulation isn’t something to force—it’s something that returns when you nourish, rest, and trust the process.
