How to Lend Money to Strangers

Funding the green home revolution

Listen Later

This is an unscientific guess, but I have to believe that the vast majority of us would prefer to get our power needs met by renewable sources in our own backyards - cleaner, yes, but also free from the price shocks that have become so common recently.

That said, heat pumps and solar panels are expensive and complicated - a daunting combination that holds many people back, myself included. That's where Cloover steps in. Born in Sweden but now finding a lot of traction in Germany, Cloover partner with renewable energy professionals to make sustainable home upgrades simple and affordable with flexible payment options.

Now, as you'll hear, this episode was originally recorded a year ago before an unplanned long break kept it dusty and on the shelves. And as you'll also hear, it wasn't alone in that fate. But Peder and I recorded a follow-up to bring the story up-to-date, and it's one that's rising to the fore in more and more markets.

You can find Peder on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/pederbroms/

You can seek me out on LinkedIn, too, where I'm open to all genuine new connections - https://www.linkedin.com/in/brendanlegrange - and follow the show's page while you're there.

Meanwhile, my action-adventure novels are on Amazon, some versions even for free, and my work with ConfirmU and our gamified psychometric scores is discussed at https://confirmu.com/ and on episode 24 of this show https://www.howtolendmoneytostrangers.show/episodes/episode-24

And since you like podcasts, I'm also co-create hAIghtened senses with Christo van Zyl, in which will look at the intersection between human senses and technology, especially AI-powered technology.

Keep well, Brendan
