On today's episode we are interviewing Olivia Haas, a Gallbladder and Fatty Liver specialist Nutritionist so we can dig into all things gallbladder health and the gallbladder-hormone connection. This episode is both for people who do and don't have gallbladders! We're discussing some of the main reasons why people may have to get their gallbladder removed, the most important things to focus on following a gallbladder surgery or if you're just trying to support your gallbladder health, and why the liver is so important in this equation.
Heads up for this episode: Olivia is NOT a non-diet practitioner, however we tried to make sure this episode was as neutral nutrition and non-diet as possible - especially because we both work with a lot of people with gallbladder issues as well. We end this episode by giving some advice for how to approach gallbladder health from an add-in approach, rather than a restrictive approach.
