Erin is horribly ashamed that she has watched 7 episodes of Love Is Blind 3 and even though she does not watch reality tv because she doesn't believe "humans are commodities for our consumption" she fell right into the Netflix trap and binged like Cookie Monster with a jar of Oreos.

From this episode:
IF LOVE IS BLIND CONTESTANTS WERE FINANCIAL PRODUCTS Matt is like those furniture stores who offer 0% payments for the first 24 months. It seems like such a kind and wise offer in the beginning. But you quickly learn that there is a financial storm brewing with explosive consequences. Stay away.
Bartise is like a loan shark. His interest in you depends on how much he can gain from you. He will also change the terms and conditions of your relationship as he feels like it but convince you it was that way all along. He’s predatory. Stay away.
Raven is like a term deposit or GIC. She has strong terms and conditions, and she’s mostly self-involved. If you cash out early, she’s expensive. There isn’t going to be a huge return on your investment, but she’s slow, steady and consistent.
Cole is like Equifax and Transunion. He feels the need to give everyone a score, and even when you are flawless like Zanab, he will still set an impossible benchmark. He’ll tell you that he cares about your story and your credit history, but in the end, he lives and dies by that score and will limit your access if it isn’t high enough.
Alexa is your statement of assets and liabilities. She is not afraid to show her flaws but she doesn’t fixate on them. She is unwavering and yet still vulnerable. She knows her worth.
Nancy is like compound interest. She gets more valuable with time, and while most people think she’s too complex to understand, she actually is what will add richness to your life.
Andrew is an expensive car lease. He attracts big egos, and is more concerned with impressing strangers on the street than getting where he is going. When the lease is up, you realize you actually own nothing.
Zanab is like the stock market. She has been through tough times, and that can make her a little spicy, but she consistently comes out on top. Most people are in it for the short term, so they find her too risky and complicated, but later, they wish they had held on.
Brennon is like a high-interest savings account. He’s safe, and will be good in emergency situations. He’s not very exciting though, so most people overlook him and pay more attention to sexy investments that are much more volatile. Like Crypto. Or Bartise.
SK is like options trading. He’s not for everyone, and you need a healthy amount of discipline to succeed. You need patience, goals, a system and maybe an exit strategy.
Colleen is like the money your grandma sends in a birthday card. It’s fun, makes you feel good and so very valuable but if you aren’t respectful and careful it will slip through your fingers.
