I have a firm belief that dentists aren't achieving their potential - clinically, financially, or enjoyment.  And in my opinion it boils down to the fact that we simply don't connect with our patients.

This lack of connection decreases case acceptance, has patients choosing to do less dentistry when they say yes, increases our reliance on dental insurance, and drives us to see more and more patients.  This ultimately leads to burnout and disenchantment with our profession.
