But also...WHY IS IT that when a man is quiet, he's "thoughtful." But when a woman is quiet she's "lost, confused, disengaged, a stupid idiot, blahblahblah..." Not only are we labelled a hundred things when we're quiet, but we're also expected to be people pleasers and fill the silence to make sure other people are comfortable. At our expense.
