It's been about three years since I was last in a relationship and I have now found myself in one that I never saw coming, in the best way possible. I spent the past few years working on myself and learning to trust the idea of love and intimacy after experiencing abuse. I took the time to heal and recover. It took a lot for me to believe that I won't be betrayed again and I am beyond blessed and grateful that I trusted myself to let my new boyfriend in. This episode will go over how this new relationship has felt and what made me realize he was the one to change the narrative of running away from being with someone and instead running towards partnership. I hope this episode helps you if you have a similar past to know that when you feel like you will never be able to trust again, you will. You are so worthy of healthy love, you are already so loved.
WELL, I am back. Back for another episode to chat with you about where I've been, what's new, and what I have been learning while healing! This episode is very casual, I even recommend wearing PJ's and sipping tea while listening cause it's that casual. This past few months have been a lot, with a majority of emotional pain and learning how to navigate life. I've been taking time to grow my "box" and step out of labelling myself into one thing and I wanted to take a break to experience more in life so I can bring more here. I am happy to be back in this space and I am so happy to share with you. - love Grace
Ps. this stuff is from a couple months ago, so that's why I'm here to share baby. I want you all to know you're not alone and I myself (even as a self-love coach) have moments where I need to remind myself how to be treated, loved, and to always take care of myself first.

In this episode, I open up about the pain of my grief and what I have experienced so far since I lost my Nana two months ago. My nana meant a lot to me and she was a really important person in my life, it has been difficult without her. Today (Wednesday, December 1st) would have been her 81st birthday, so I wanted to do something special. This episode is also a tribute to her and I go over why she was so important to me and briefly describe the wonderful person she was. There will be a part 2 to this episode down the road.

People-pleasing is something that I still work on myself. It is linked with codependency, fear of abandonment, and other deep-rooted traumas. Everyone deserves to do what is best for them, without feeling guilty or like they are a bad person. This episode talks about reasons why you may feel this way and how to control them. Happy healing!

Self-forgiveness is an important part of self-love. It can help you understand your childhood conditioning, your mistakes, and will free you from the shame and guilt you may still hold on to. It is important to give yourself compassion, understand it was not your fault. Forgiveness helps you release and accept the moments you may not feel good about. Forgiving your abusers or those who caused you pain is not necessary for this. It is all a personal choice. This episode highlights some ways this can be done if it feels right for you. Remember, this journey is yours and for you.

This episode talks about where I've been for the past couple months. It was nice to have some time to reflect and get ready for the new year! I hope you all had an amazing holiday season. This episode also goes into triggers and how I deal with them. Triggers are a scary and tough time, but they can bring the most beautiful lessons.
Love you all, Grace.
