Hello, and welcome. I'm so glad you're here with me today. I know that as we move through early March of 2025, life can feel overwhelming - maybe you're juggling work pressures, personal challenges, or just the constant background noise of daily existence. Today, we're going to create a small sanctuary of gratitude right here, right now.
Take a moment to settle into wherever you are. Let your body find its most comfortable position - whether you're sitting, standing, or lying down. Close your eyes if that feels comfortable, and take a deep breath in... and a slow breath out. Feel the weight of your body supported, whether by a chair, a cushion, or the ground beneath you.
Let's breathe together. Inhale deeply through your nose, feeling your chest and belly expand like a gentle wave rising... and exhale slowly, releasing any tension. With each breath, imagine you're washing away the day's accumulated stress, creating space for something lighter, something more nourishing.
Today, we're exploring gratitude not as a forced practice, but as a genuine exploration of the small miracles that often go unnoticed. I want you to imagine gratitude as a soft, warm light - not bright or harsh, but gentle and persistent. Think about three things that have touched your heart recently, no matter how small.
Perhaps it's the warmth of your morning coffee, the unexpected smile from a stranger, or the way sunlight fell across your kitchen floor this morning. These aren't grand moments, but they are profound. Each is a thread in the beautiful tapestry of your lived experience.
Now, place your hand on your heart. Feel its steady rhythm, its quiet resilience. With each breath, whisper internally three things you're genuinely grateful for today. They can be anything - a comfortable pair of socks, a moment of peace, a kind word. Let these thoughts settle into you like gentle raindrops nourishing fertile soil.
As we complete our practice, I invite you to carry this sense of soft appreciation with you. Throughout your day, pause and notice. Gratitude isn't about forcing positivity, but about opening your awareness to the constant, quiet gifts surrounding you.

Breathe well, be kind to yourself, and until next time.
