Derek Mulhall's first race was a marathon, as he says 'go big or go home.

A few years later he qualified and competed in the Boston Marathon.  Unfortunately it was the year of the Boston bombings.  He decided to go back to Boston in 2014 to have a better experience.  

He got hooked on ultra marathons after his buddy introduced him to the movie Unbreakable.   

We chat with Derek about his first ticket race, The Indiana 100, and almost DNF'ing at Hellbender.
