In this episode, I had a conversation with Kelsey Valentine, who is a Registered Physiotherapist, and my colleague, who specializes in pelvic health, and practices at The WOMB, Milton, and Woodstock locations, in Ontario Canada.
Kelsey supports women who come in with various pelvic health-related challenges, using a lens of healing beyond the physical, recognizing that the care they often need is beyond the biomechanics.
In this episode, she unpacks and demystifies pain, why it lasts longer for some people than others, and relates it to a common pain symptom that she sees in her practice, pain during intercourse.
This was such an informative conversation and below are the 10 key things you will want to hear about if you are someone who is witnessing ongoing pain.
