In today’s episode of Healing From Within, your host Sheryl Glick, author of The Living Spirit: Answers for Healing and Infinite welcomes Pastor Bill Jenkins author of Fifteen –Holy number for Success in 2015. Pastor Bill Jenkins, the founder and senior pastor of Church of Acts in Indianapolis and host of Generation Acts which is a weekly television broadcast on TBN and has been recognized by his community as a Man of Distinction receiving The Mayors Community Service Award shares his insights on how the Bible and Spirit offer us through the power of the Word to find answers and direction to create our best life journey. As a 17 year old with a strong passion for baseball, Bill Jenkins had an opportunity to sign a professional contract. Instead of seeking success through baseball, Jenkins became a youth pastor and traveled the United States preaching the gospel. He describes an awakening or spiritual calling that happened to him while in a local church.

Pastor Jenkins goes on to tell us the number 15 and indeed each number is a code with messages and they have many meanings in the Bible. The number 15 in the Bible pictures rest, which comes after deliverance, represented by fourteen. The 15th day of the first Hebrew month (Nisan) is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a day of rest for the children of Israel (and for Christians). The 15th day of the 7th Hebrew month begins the Feast of Tabernacles, also a day of rest.

God told Abraham in a vision, just as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15 on the Hebrew calendar, that his descendants would end up as slaves in a foreign country (Egypt). They would, however, eventually be set free (Genesis 15:12 - 16). Many years later in Egypt, God miraculously delivered Israel’s firstborn from the death angel just as Passover began after sunset (Nisan 14). Then, 24 hours later (just as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15), the children of Israel began to leave Egypt (Exodus 12:40 - 41). This night is referred to as the 'night to be much observed' (Exodus 12:40 - 42, Deuteronomy 16:1). God's prophecy of freedom, given to Abraham on Nisan 15, was fulfilled years later on the exact same day.

After dying on the cross, Jesus' body is placed in a Garden Tomb as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15 in 30 A.D. (Matthew 27:57 - 61, Luke 23:50 - 55, John 19:38 - 42).

King Hezekiah, who was sick and dying, prayed that God would remember his works and how he served him with his whole heart. God heard his prayer and told the king, through the prophet Isaiah, that he would be healed and granted an additional number of years of live, 15 years.

Pastor Bill tells us that the number 15 is important in today’s world. Believing in God or a Higher Source of Life and Creation and that we are more than our physical bodies establishes and puts us in a favorable position because we are in agreement with God. Much like the saying, “Your will is my will.” Believing His prophets or light workers or those who receive information from Spirit in the hopes of helping us grow and evolve prospers us and causes us to have long-term success because we are at peace with whatever transpires in our lives. The word “prosper” in verse 20 is referring to economic or financial success. Believing the prophets of God can often release financial favor although it is important to remember soul growth and the refinement of our energy is not limited to success in the sense of the material world. True success and happiness involves self-development and sharing your spiritual gifts and understandings with others in the hope of making the world a more unified and cooperative state.

Sheryl says it seems to her that anyone who seeks to understand the Universe Laws of Energy and its divine force whether by religious or spiritual practices is searching for the Word or truth of our being is a prophet.

Paddy Fievet author of When Life Cried Out and her newest book The Making Of A Mystic shares how quite unexpectedly and to her astonishment through pen and paper while meditating deeply one day received an answer to a question that had plagued her all her life. Recognizing Divine Love in Self, others and nature she shows us how we may be guided through the deepest meanings of a mystical connection and discover some profound truths about a Universal way to reach our greatest potential in transforming and transitioning from the illusions many of us pay homage to and to recognize that beauty love integrity among other virtuous qualities are the fabric of our real inner soul nature.

Paddy describes anxiety panic attacks and agoraphobic symptoms in the following way… “The following anxiety in my chest started rather quietly at first, but its upsurge almost knocked me over..This panic attack was going to be profound…I tried some yogic breathing techniques but found it wasn’t working…My hands trembled tingled and then became absolutely numb. Electric currents randomly shot up my forearms, while my legs became anesthetized. My eyesight began to shut down completely Rasping for breath..my flight or fight response kicked in and Oh God I ran. My friend Samuel came and brought me back into the building and the woman to my right began to speak in soft reassuring tones…Turn your back to me and I can help. I began to feel better..The lady said she was an allergy intuitive and I was having a reaction to the perfume of the woman in front of me…By utilizing a specific set of acupressure points on either side of your backbone, I was able to help your body overcome this allergic reaction This woman was studying energy medicine with Dr Normal Shealy and Dr Carolyn Myss.”

Paddy mentions many topics that she questioned the guides about including Purpose, God, Truth, Soulful Listening, Neediness, Seeking Personal Reflection, Conscious, Choice and received magnificent and all empowering answers.

Sheryl liked the one entitled” Seeking”….As you look for God, seek Creation in the sunrise of today’s beginnings. As the range of yellowy colors bursts forth into your darkness, know that you have found possibility. And know that your search is just beginning. As you seek God today, look in the eager faces of the children trusting and so full of hope for their lives before they experience the sadness that humanity brings upon one another while forgetting love, but remembering hate and violence. God is there in the innocence of the child and still is found in mankind’s inhumanity, laughing in one, crying in the other. Seek God in the forests. Hear divine whispers of love as the breezes echo through the leaves, reminding you to be still and know that Spirit is and always and evermore, moving within the stillness of your own awareness, etc.

Paddy feels writing her memoir was not only a psychological exercise in personal growth but was also part of a greater spiritual process.

Paddy tells us that “The Spiritual process began when she was at a group meeting with 11 tremendously psychic women, most of whom had healing practices of one kind or another and knew how to read energy in the body-mind or the aura which surrounds each of us and is filled with emotions perceptions of our experiences and results of our thoughts… I was asked to ask a question and my question was, “Why do I never feel good enough?” I closed my eyes and began to write…filled with a loving energy that pulsated through my heart and right into my hand..

We begin the show with Carmen sharing an intimate and provocative remembrance from childhood that may have been the influence that guided her to the work and passionate life she lives now… At about 5 years old Carmen drowned in a river near her home. Her father rescued her but she already had gotten a glimpse of the world beyond our own. While unconscious, Carmen recalls being transported through a white light and emerging into a picturesque setting of green valleys and silent streams. Several beings in white robes approached her and told her to go back. It wasn’t her time they said. Carmen returned to the normal world, but not without an added talent a heightened sensitivity and the gift of clairvoyance. Growing up, Carmen had incredible accurate visions…larger than life visions. That’s what predictions are…visions that are part destiny and part free will. When Carmen makes a prediction for someone she expands their self-vision…and then they might take that hope and manifest it into reality.

Carmen and Alexandra tell us that “The secret is that karma is both the problem and the solution. Karma is the accumulation of our thoughts, intentions and actions both good and bad. The energy of Karma manifests in everyday life. It gets attached to our consciousness until it is dealt with. We carry our karma like luggage on a trip so our experiences in this lifetime draw their origins in past lives. Karma is not quite as simple as what goes around comes around…or how you treat others is how they will treat you. The Sanskrit word Karma means the force of thoughts and deeds. This energy manifests as beliefs, emotions and actions. The energy of Karma becomes woven into your personal energy field or consciousness. It gets attached to the soul and remains there lifetime after lifetime until it is resolved.

The subject of crystals has always held a fascination for us. Crystals, it is claimed, can alleviate stress, boost creativity, cure disease, raise levels of consciousness and enhance psychic powers in areas such as divination and dowsing. The belief that quartz and semi-precious stones  contain a subtle power unknown to science is a key part of the New Age industry.

Some proponents claim that these effects are currently outside the testable boundaries of science, and stem from magical auras, vibrations, and frequencies. However those who specialize in studying and working with crystals are aware of their beneficial nature much like herbal therapies that have been used for healing before pharmaceutical medicines. Different crystals are also thought to posses different levels of energy, and produce different effects.

Sheryl tells a coincidental story in regard to evaluating the vibration of crystals which happened the day before the recording of this show. At a clients house to administer a Reiki energy session Sheryl's client who is a jewelry designer laid 7 crystal bookmarks in front of her and wished her to select one. Sheryl picked up the two that appealed to her and closed her eyes to feel which energy had a more healing effect for her. Both were good but Sheryl selected the one that worked well with the solar plexis chakra. So we can see that crystals like people vibrate at various levels and certain energies are better for their well being than other energies perhaps. It is wise to begin to tap into the energy of your own vibration so you can release what causes pain or friction and incorporate what in your environment brings happiness and well-being. Knowing yourself more completely at an emotional level and increasing your sensory way of feeling what is around you is the way to develop this innate intuitive ability we all have.

A study has shown that the sensations reported by believers in crystals such as tingling, warmth and feelings of well-being ­ come instead from the power of suggestion. When given cheap, fake crystals, people reported exactly the same sterious sensations as when they handle the genuine articles.

Jeannine Wiest grew up in New York City where she attended the famed High School of the Performing Arts and as a younger child wanted to be a detective or a dancer on Broadway. She became a dancer on Broadway moved to Los Angeles created a successful design firm and began to make unusual connections that aided the detective and the artist to discover a way to listen to the body and to self-heal what was unable to be healed through the years of enduring pain and misdiagnosis by the medical community. In seeking alternative treatments Jeannine discovered and studied Craniosacral Therapy became a Reiki Master and holistic coach. Today we will discuss how to transform old stories that dwell in the body and drain well-being, how to reconnect with body wisdom to access creative resources and how to respond to challenges with calm and focused energy so we may transform into a more extraordinary version of self.

Jeanne writes “When I became extremely ill and was misdiagnosed with cancer, I came to realize I had to listen to my body, employ my intuition just as I had in my work…Ultimately Craniosacral Therapy taught me methods for seeing past physical symptoms…I realized my body was indeed listening to me. These symptoms and conditions imply to this happening:

* High levels of stress resulting in loss of focus and depression

* Repetitive injuries that seem to recur just when they are getting better

Our bodies have become patterned and conditioned to use ineffective ways to deal with stress painful experiences in childhood or traumas overwhelming us as the stress is locked in at sites of inertial which then affect the natural rhythmical movements of the Breath of Life, hindering our ability for health to manifest at a cellular level. Tissues become imprinted with the memory of unresolved experiences and act like videotapes that replay whenever stimulated. Tools to read bodily signal and resources to heal them are possible.

Change is two dimensional whereas transition is three-dimensional…which involves depth because our heart and soul are engaged…a change is merely external, whereas a transition on the other hand alters our psychology-the way we think, the way we feel and how we perceive the world. Transitions force us to address the important questions of existence; Why are we here? What do we want to do? What direction do we take? Where in the world do we truly belong?”

A transition alters our core beliefs which affect the choices we make; change may alter our outer circumstances without liberating us in any way. Transition is a liberating force that helps to make life lighter and easier. Change is purely material whereas a transition impacts our consciousness and spiritual awareness.

Personal Transition is linked to a much larger process… that of global transition Steve believes we stand together at a powerful and crucially important crossroads in human history. One way leads to a powerful evolution and flowering of soul and consciousness: the other leads to more ego, control, contraction and even possibly global tyranny. As a hypnotherapist , Cindy tells our audience something about that healing modality and some of the conditions it may be used to treat. A hypnotherapist helps clients connect to and use the resources within themselves in other words their innate soul memories or the innumerable resources of their subconscious minds to create a more satisfying life by eliminating limiting fears or beliefs that may compromise a happy and healthier state of being. During the light meditative state people are in during a session people may relax and focus. When coupled with an intense emotional desire to create positive change or modify certain behaviors allow many valuable outcomes to occur.

Sheryl says “Before I became a Reiki Master Teacher I was guided to study hypnotherapy and yoga as a way to connect to my internal energy or soul source of life and also to study quantum physics and spiritual communication which helped me to remember or rediscover who we are…spiritual beings of Universal energy having a physical life. Consciousness or our inner soul essence does survive physical death. In understanding that our destiny or life plan is within our inner awareness we can become more empowered to improve the quality of our physical life and can live with less fear or restrictions and limitations allowing us to accept any circumstance or challenge and then to work past it for the highest good of all those around us..In other words self-awareness affords us a great gift or tool to an awakening of our greatest potential for living a creative and purposeful life experience.

During a Reiki session, the client is in a light meditative peaceful relaxing state and can access higher dimensions and awareness of their real needs and desires much like a hypnotic altered state achieved durining hypnosis helping the person to achieve healing on multi-dimensional levels.
