She believes in using creativity as a tool for healing and uses a multi-arts or intermodal approach in her work. Julie believes in the power of creativity to heal and change. She holds a license in Oregon and Louisiana and has worked with survivors of violent crimes and domestic and sexual violence. Julie believes that everyone can benefit from her approach, regardless of experience in the arts.
In her work, she uses techniques from Internal Family Systems Therapy to help clients get to know their inner systems and work with their parts. She has learned to be patient and brave in her new private practice, and to network and make human connections to build her practice. In this episode, you will learn the following:
