According to, Kristen Hick, at the Center for Shared Insight, PC, “When you are desperate for love, you are more inclined to rush relationship milestones or find yourself in rebound relationships or relationships that you choose too quickly without fully understanding the lessons of the previous relationship.” Desperation leaves you in despair, bitter, and judgmental. On top of that, people can smell desperation. They can tell by your actions and they know who they can take advantage of. Remember, whatever you feed, grows.
That’s why I do these Podcasts. I want you to think about what I’m sharing with you. Think about the intimate details I’ve divulged throughout my Podcasts. It’s not to get sympathy, it’s to get you to think, why? Because even though I don’t know you specifically, I care about you. I want you to stop the pattern of being in consistent toxic romantic relationships.
Don’t forget to text your comments to 872-256-3072, as they’re important to me. You can also email [email protected].
If you are considering or are in a relationship with someone who is excessively jealous under the guise of love, is hypervigilant in his desire to know where you are at all times and who blows small things out of proportion, or someone who takes over the entire conversation by talking about himself, or who isolates you from your friends and family, be on the lookout. You are not entering into or in a healthy, wealthy, or wise relationship. This is not normal behavior. Run.

You live with yourself every day, so you have to treat yourself better so that you can begin to attract better into your life. Once you start exercising that ‘be kind to yourself muscle’, you’ll wonder why you hadn’t done it sooner. When you don’t stop and look seriously at what’s happening to YOU, around you, with you, that’s when you are intentionally choosing not to be kind to yourself. You’re choosing more of what you’ve already been through. After every failed relationship I’d mentally berate myself. Judy Belmont tells us, “Forgive yourself for not having the foresight to know what now seems so obvious in hindsight.”
When you’re true to yourself you don’t do things that go against your grain, your morals, your values. You don’t take awesome care of someone else while neglecting yourself. You don’t make it a point to make your mate's life seamless while you begin to resent him because what you’re doing is not being reciprocated in any way at any time.

The next in this series of 7 Prevention Keys to Avoiding Datetastrophies is Be Kind to Yourself.
Your intuition really is your guide. It's that nudge you get when something isn't right. It's your Northern Star. You really can avoid getting into a toxic relationship by paying close attention to how you feel around a person or by listening intently to a person's words and definitely by seeing if the walk the talk.
Beginning with this episode I’m going to shed light on 7 keys to preventing Datetastrophies.
The 7 keys are: Intuition, Being true to thine self, Be kind to yourself, Revisit your past, Be on the lookout, Drop the desperation, and Become who you want to attract.
The purpose of this Podcast is to help you, control, alt, delete your pattern of negative choices that keep sabotaging your life and allowing toxic people a place in your life. In a nutshell, I want to educate, encourage, and empower you to become the dynamic person you were created to be and become comfortable, confident, and courageous in your own skin. I don’t specifically know your situation, but I’ll bet we share some of the same catastrophic outcomes, that’s why I can speak into your situation and shed some light.
We are all in some type of relationship whether it be familial, friendship, romantic, employer, and employee, but one of the most important relationships should be the one you have with you. That’s right. Your relationship with yourself is the foundation and sets the tone for every relationship you encounter. Now, I am a Christ-follower, so for me that relationship is the most important relationship of all and it sets the tone for all of my relationships. You’ll get to hear how God has worked through my life in many of the episodes.
You see, I want you to experience what a healthy, wealthy, and wise relationship actually is, which I hope you’ll begin to develop through listening to my podcast. You only have one life and you can’t hide from yourself so why not make the best of it? You are a unique combination of experiences, talents, beliefs, and successes. You are capable of creating significant impact, so don’t play small.
