Born and raised on the ancestral land of the Cherokee people (colonially known as Asheville, NC) Nick Kepley is a white, queer, non-binary Tarot reader, teacher, and writer who is actively committed to resisting the way society works to define us all. Nick believes in the power of words and the importance of representation, and much of his work is dedicated to re-centering marginalized narratives and questioning mainstream archetypes within the context of tarot, magic, and spirituality. Siri Vincent Plouff (they/them) is a Nordic witch, rune reader, and tarot reader living on Anishinaabe and Dakota land in Minneapolis, MN. As an unabashedly queer person, they are constantly interrogating runes and Nordic practices through a unique lens of gender identity. They see witchcraft as a way to break out of expectations, and live outside of society. They are in training with Kari Tauring, a modern-day völva, and Johannes Gårdbäck, a Trollkunning and professional folk magician. Siri teaches about the runes, tarot, and witchcraft.

This conversation is not surface layer! There's some really interesting inquisitive questions like:
* How to reconsider witchcraft
* How to broaden our scope of what witchcraft is
* How to find your own path
* What it means to be a magician

We also have a really interesting conversation about what it means to be a witch and claiming that term and being in relationship to that term, but also understanding that there are other ways to engage with magic without necessarily being a witch

Juliana Wexler was raised in San Diego by two psychologists trying to understand her every move. Always fascinated by how systems work, she folded a pre-med education into her own customized major that evaluated the disparities and inequities in the U.S. healthcare system. Professionally, her 20s took her to Manhattan, where she worked her way up and out of various healthcare startups. Personally, her 20s were a time of trying to fit into a mold of a person that she desperately wanted to be.

However, at 30, she realized all the ways the people and systems around her, paired with her own limiting beliefs, kept her small and confined. Suddenly divorced at 30, she found herself deeply questioning every aspect of her life. It was through the dismantling of all aspects of the life she had previously built that she began the process of coming home to herself.

She is the founder of Parama, where she guides individuals and companies in compassionate navigation of transitions, difficult conversations, and negotiations. She helps foster improved communication and the building of reciprocal relationships with her “Conscious Confrontation” method.

Juliana is a fantastic storyteller!  She takes us through her 20s and her marriage and divorce and the journey through making your life "look right" to making it "feel right" Some things we discuss:

Rebecca  Scolnick is an emotional witch, forever Seeker and queer human lady (she/her), who uses magic and storytelling to support unlearning work and inspire new meaning making. A jill-of-all-trades/wrestler-of-internalized-capitalism, she teaches and works 1-on-1 with the Tarot and Numerology and hosts a podcast on alternative religions called Discourse of the Stranger with Divine Spark Media. Her first book on Numerology and Witchcraft will be published in early 2022.
