In this episode I'm talking through 3 reasons why feeling lost is a good thing. I'm also sharing a little about my personal experience of flunking out of Law School, and now I can now look back and see all the dots join up so perfectly.

I didn't always know the answer to this question. I was attached to my surface identity, and it wasn't until I reached my 30's that I was put in a position where life begged me to address this. I was disconnected from myself, and it got to the point that it wasn't working anymore.
In this podcast, I'm talking through my story, as well as how you can start to connect with your Authentic Self and show up in life. I'm highlighting that we are all beautifully, usually, uniquely perfect, and we need to celebrate that.
Points include:
I reference in this episode, Elizabeth Gilbert's speech, Flight of the Hummingbird. It's a must watch! You can find it here: http://www.oprah.com/own-supersoulsessions/Elizabeth-Gilbert-The-Curiosity-Driven-Life-Video
And if you'd like a "Me" Journal, here is an Amazon search page to get you started (note: I haven't checked any of them out personally, so can't recommend sorry! - still think I just might have to write one!): ME Journal Search

In this episode, I'm getting real with Mom, Author, Self-Care & Meditation Teacher Ali Katz about how life can go from Hot Mess crazy, to truly mindful; and what that even means!
Ali went from a frazzled Mom, who didn't even realize how crazy she was, to a Mom who now practices a bunch of things to keep her centered. She's kicked her anxiety goodbye and now teaches others how they can step into their best selves and truly Get the Most Out of Motherhood.
In this interview we're talking:

This episode I'm talking why it's important to consider a Future Vision for yourself. Change is a constant, and yet most of us underestimate how much we do change! If we're not in the driving seat, setting our course, life has a tendency to just happen to us.
Here I'm going deeper into:
I reference Dan Gilbert's TED talk, The Psychology of Your Future Self: https://www.ted.com/talks/dan_gilbert_you_are_always_changing
I also refer to an article I find useful in describing the difference between Therapy & Coaching by Patrick Williams. You can download a copy of that here: http://www.cce-global.org/Assets/BCC/Resources/CoachingvsPsychologyTheGreatDebate.pdf

I’m getting personal and talking about my struggle to integrate both the Mystical & Practical sides of myself. I now recognize that it was through finding a way to do so, that I have ultimately been able to find my sense of wholeness.
Specifically, I’m discussing:
I’ve also got 3 questions for you to ask yourself to help you integrate what is coming up from your mystical side:
· What is rising in me that wants to be expressed?
· What can I do to bring this to life?
· What are my next 3 simple steps?
In this episode, I mention Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor and her book, My Stroke of Insight. You can also watch her TED talk here: http://www.ted.com/talks/jill_bolte_taylor_s_powerful_stroke_of_insight
I also talk about a book that I found life-changing, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. It won’t change everyone's’ (I’ve decided no book ever really has!), but it turned up right when I was ready to read it and helped me look at my world differently.

Shannon Kaiser is on the show! Shannon is my favorite go-to expert on all things happiness. She is the bestselling author of Find Your Happy, Find Your Happy Daily Mantras and Adventures for Your Soul.
In this episode, Shannon shares parts of her personal story and how she went from hopeless and lost to happy and thriving. We talk about how she lost her confidence only to regain it, and how she found the courage to step into a life that felt truly authentic despite the obstacles.
It's a discussion about self-love, personal growth and discovery, relying on your inner strength and learning how to trust yourself.
Specifically, Shannon describes:
· What believing your future-self means
· How you can start creating a life your future-self will thank you for
· What it looks like to move away from a life that doesn’t fit you anymore
· How the recent political climate has pushed many of us into a fearful state
· How we can override our fear, and put ourselves back into a positive space
· How we can reclaim our personal power
· What trusting yourself actually looks and feels like
There are so many highly relevant and actionable points we touch on in this discussion! You may actually need to listen to it twice.

I'm getting a little more personal in this episode and talking through what I do to keep myself centered. These are the 3 simple things that I rely on to maintain a connection with my higher self or soul. That is also the part of me that I consider divine, and connected to something much bigger than little old me. It is practical self-help.
