One of the most magical things about the equinox is the balance and calibration it offers to us. Most transits, portals and lunations are about either calling in OR releasing but at this time of year we're asked to do an energetic overhaul in order to simultaneously access both.

 

When we think about this intentionally- if we know what we want to release- and we probably do because a lot of times its SO much easier to say "well I don't want this, and I'm so over that" but also we need to be able to support that with what we do want:

 

For example, if we want to release energetic drains , imbalanced relationships, feeling taken advantage of, or taken for granted. We are also asked to  explore the counter balance to that:

 

Maybe it’s calling in something along the lines of:

I am now easily attracting and magnetising people and situations that light me up, inspire me, make me feel supported, loved, in reception of generosity...etc etc

This coming Tuesday the 17th houses the full moon in Pisces. This transit occurring when the sun is in Virgo and the moon is in Pisces is the end of 2024's six month eclipse season that began in Pisces (going back to March 10th of this year)  It's a good time to ask ourselves: What we were moving through-especially around relationships at this time. Pay attention to  new relationships that entered at that time and/or what may have been a focus around what you were desiring in friendships or romantic relationships. 

A good exercise this week for the eclipse is looking back at the last six months and asking:   -What have we learned around relationships and co-creation in this time and what may need to be eclipsed out?   - As we move toward Libra season on the 23rd, where can we look at what balance and boundaries of the Libran scales are needed. If there are unsettling or resentment inducing inbalances, where did we play a role in this and where can we course correct on the other side of the eclipse?

September and the fall is literally the witches new year, as it houses both the equinox which is a powerful reset and in October, Samhaim which is the harvest festival celebrating the new year. This is also the case in various other religions and philosophies   This is a really powerful time to ask ourselves: What is this fresh start that the Magician is here to help us with? Do we feel far from our base- level and want to get back to that, or are we wanting to uplevel into a newer enhanced version of ourselves?   Maybe its both.   This is a really great time to access: What we want this start to look like from a feeling place?     What are the ways you get excited to express new energies? (The tools in the Magician card's tool kit)   -initiating new routines -clothing/wardrobe upgrades -new playlists -new self care habits: working out, journalling
