These are strange times and we are all trying to learn how to navigate something we have yet to experience in our lifetime. We are here to remind you that there isn’t a one size fits all approach to handling this, however we do hope we can offer some tools to help you as we travel through this uncharted territory in our lives.
Some things that have helped us so far:
Create some type of routine. Not saying you need to have a tight schedule and stick to it, just find a few staple things that keep you feeling grounded.
Reach out for support! Find ways to stay connected while we embrace social distancing. Release all expectation. Whether it be an expectation for everything you should be accomplishing during this time or an expectation of how you should be feeling. Let it go.
Get some movement in. Have a dance party, do some yoga, whatever it is that you feel you could use to help get some endorphins pumping.
And most of all, be kind. To yourself, to your partner, to your kids, to your neighbor. Kindness costs nothing and is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and others during this time
