Episode 86: Show Notes

A few takeaways from today’s episode.

• Real estate is awesome.  You can get the rights to something that will allow you to make money, without really taking on much risk, if any.
• There’s really almost no risk whatsoever when putting a house under contract (assuming you have the right contingencies in place).
• A quick note about education—yes, you need to get educated to do this business, but the majority of people are way overthinking it.  Don’t make it so difficult for yourself.  Flipping houses is easier than you might think.
• The people who struggle the most in this business are often those who know “everything” about working on houses, because they get in their own way.
• Your goal should be to fire yourself.  Your goal should be to do as little as possible to run your business.  The less you can do, the more successful you’re going to be—I’m serious!
• You can have money, or you can have excuses.  You can’t have both.  If you’re making excuses, that’s why you don’t have money.
• I’ve said it before.  You CAN do this business.  Get some education, and learn what you need to know to keep yourself safe, but then get out there and take action, action, action.
