  • 17: Man Strangles Ex-Wife In Jealous Rage | Fear Thy Family
A 37-year-old man was sentenced to over 60 years for torturing and killing his ex-girlfriend in 2020.

Mary Grubb, 27, went to Christopher Allison's home in November 2020 so their 2-year-old daughter could visit him.

Grubb's body was found wrapped in a pickup truck bed with serious injuries to her throat, neck, and head on Nov. 25, 2020, WXIN-TV reports. Prosecutors alleged Allison planned to burn and bury Grubb's body.

WXIN says Allison was envious of Grubb's new lover and strangled him with his belt. Allison apparently let Grubb regain consciousness twice while strangling her so he could read her boyfriend's text messages.

The homicide happened "within hearing" of their 2-year-old daughter.

WXIN says a witness recorded Allison discussing moving Grubb's body, possible alibis, and the last time he saw Grubb. Allison apparently mentioned in the recording that Grubb's necklace was broken.

Records say Allison was arrested on Nov. 26, 2020.

Allison was sentenced to 60 years for murder and two years for neglecting a dependent on Oct. 21. Allison's guilty plea dismissed strangling, attempted murder, obstruction of justice, and intimidation charges.

  • 17: Mother-In-Law Buried In Garden | Fear Thy Family
The body of his missing 83-year-old mother-in-caregiver law's was found buried in her garden, prompting an arrest and charge against the person.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported Rebecca Seay missing on March 2. She apparently had a medical problem that would make it challenging for her to go back on her own.

Her bones were discovered a week later, wrapped in sheets, and buried in her garden, about 2 feet beneath a flower bed, according to the police, who spoke to WREG-TV. Reportedly, a box containing her son's ashes found close to her body.

According to WREG, Seay's body exhibited no overt symptoms of trauma, and her cause of death was unknown. Nevertheless, Seay apparently slipped out of bed before passing away and was taken to the hospital six days later.

On Jan. 22, after she was discharged from the hospital, Greg Tanner was apparently the last person to see Seay alive. Tanner became his mother-in-caretaker law's when a doctor informed him that his mother-in-law had dementia and was worsening and that hospice care would be suitable, according to WREG.

Tanner reportedly signed for the box containing Seay's ashes when it was delivered to a funeral home on September 16.

Over $24,600 was deducted from Seay's account between January 7 and March 7, according to investigators who spoke with WREG. Tanner used her account to gamble online while making the deductions. Authorities reportedly also discovered cheques with Seay's falsified signature totaling more than $80,000 in value.

According to documents, Tanner was detained on October 24 and charged with forgery, financial exploitation of an aged or vulnerable person, identity theft, and abuse of a corpse in addition to theft of property between $60,000 and $250,000. He is still detained on a $150,000 bond.

  • 17: Woman Survives Being Buried Alive! | Fear Thy Family
According to reports, a guy attempted to bury his estranged wife alive in the woods after kidnapping her.

Officers were called to a residence in the 3800 block of Rossberg Street on October 16 in response to a report of overheard yelling and sounds of struggle, according to a news release from the Lacey Police Department. Authorities reportedly met children at the scene who claimed their parents went to go shopping about 30 minutes earlier.

Police reported that after conducting a more thorough investigation of the house, they discovered duct tape that they suspect was used to treat the victim.

Authorities issued an endangered missing persons warning and the mother, Young An, reportedly has a domestic violence protection order against her estranged husband, Chae An.

According to probable cause documents acquired by KING-TV, Young An's estranged husband was waiting for her inside the house on October 16 when she returned from church with her two children. The lady reportedly told her kids to leave so that she and Chae An could discuss their divorce and financial issues.

Chae An allegedly assaulted Young An after becoming enraged and taped her up with duct tape. According to reports, the victim dialed 911 and alerted her contacts using her Apple Watch.

KING claims that Chae Ann put his divorced wife in a van and took her to the woods. He allegedly attempted to bury her alive there by covering her with earth. According to the victim, she spent a couple hours underneath, according to KING.

The woman was able to remove the tape from her arms on October 17 and flee. She reportedly spent about a half-hour walking through the woods before showing up at a residence on Stedman Road at around 12:52 a.m., when she informed the resident that her divorced husband had attempted to kill her. When Thurston County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the house, Young An reportedly informed them that Chae An had abducted her and taken her to the woods.

According to NBC News, the woman was coated in mud and had severe bruises on her head, arms, and legs. According to reports, she was taken to a hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening wounds.

The victim's estranged husband was arrested at roughly 8:02 a.m., and, according to NBC News, he is currently being investigated on several counts, including first-degree attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping, and first-degree assault.

According to KING, when authorities examined the wooded location the victim had described, they discovered a "hole consistent with a grave type design," some duct tape, and the woman's hair.

  • 15: 4-Year-Old OD's On THC Gummies! | Fear Thy Family
A woman in her 30s was recently charged with involuntary manslaughter following the death of her son, who was just four years old at the time of his death and was believed to have consumed an excessive amount of THC edibles.

On May 8, a medical emergency involving the child occurred at a property located on Jamie Court, as stated in a press statement issued by the Sheriff of Spotsylvania County, Roger Harris. It is said that he passed away two days after that.

Harris stated that additional inquiry led to the discovery that "a considerable quantity of THC gummies" were consumed by the toddler. It has been alleged that a doctor advised the authorities that the child's death could have been avoided if medical assistance had been provided to the infant quickly after consumption.

The indictment of the infant's mother, Dorothy Annette Clements, on charges of felony murder and felony child negligence was announced by Harris on October 17 and came from a grand jury in Spotsylvania County. On October 20, three days after she was supposedly taken into custody, she was transported to the Rappahannock Regional Jail where she was held without bond.

  • 12: DNA Catches Man Who Killed In-Laws in 1981 | Fear Thy Family
New York police have arrested a 79-year-old man for the 1981 stabbing deaths of his in-laws.

The murders of his in-laws in their Vermont home in 1989 have led to the arrest of a 79-year-old man from New York.

A neighbor discovered George Peacock, 76, and Catherine Peacock, 73, dead in their home on U.S. Route 7 in Danby, Vermont, on September 17, 1989, according to a news release from the Vermont State Police. A number of stab wounds were reportedly found in the victims.

No signs of forced entry were found, and no valuables were reported missing, according to the police.

Michael Louise, the husband of one of the Peacocks' daughters, was named as a suspect two weeks after the bodies were discovered, police said. Authorities say they gathered circumstantial evidence linking Louise to the murders but were unable to provide a direct link.

May of 2020 saw the announcement that a drop of blood found in Louise's car in October 1989 had been matched by DNA to George Peacock, according to the police. Earlier in the investigation, the blood sample was tested, but the results were inconclusive.

Two counts of second-degree murder were filed against Louise on Thursday, October 13, after he was arrested at his home in Syracuse, New York. After being arrested in New York, he is currently being extradited to Vermont to face charges there.Share YOUR Crazy Family Story With Us Now!!

  • 12: Bodybuilder Burns Ex-Wife Body In Backyard | Fear Thy Family
A Florida bodybuilder has been charged with his ex-murder girlfriend's after police discovered her skeletal remains in a burn pile in the backyard.

A bodybuilder from Florida has been arrested for murder after charred remains were discovered in a backyard burn pile.

Katie Samantha Baunach, 43, was last seen on September 29 and is presumed dead; her ex-husband, Ian Christopher Baunach, has been charged with murder.

Katie had previously accused Baunach of abusing one of their children before she vanished. On the grounds of domestic violence, she was granted an injunction against him on behalf of their child.

Katie's disappearance was reported to the police by a concerned friend who contacted the Hendry County Sheriff's Office.

Katie had dropped off her two children at a friend's house on September 29 at approximately 9 o'clock in the evening, and was planning to pick up some of her personal belongings from Baunach's residence, as her friend later told police.

Since then, no one had heard from her.

The police found her car the next day in front of Baunach's house with her purse still inside.

When police returned to the house with a search warrant, they discovered "evidence that a homicide had occurred there," as stated in the federal criminal complaint obtained by PEOPLE.

After applying luminol, police allegedly discovered blood and signs of a struggle in the trunk of Baunach's car.

The complaint states that "the wall was damaged and exposed screws in the wall where an object appeared to have previously been mounted."

Law enforcement officials claim to have discovered 13 silencers and her wedding and engagement rings inside a safe.

On October 1st, Baunach was questioned by the police. According to the complaint, on September 29, the ex-bodybuilder allegedly saw Katie after she called him and "said she needed gasoline for her vehicle." He claimed to police that an argument broke out between them after she arrived because of another woman, and that he subsequently went to bed to avoid further conflict. He claims that when he awoke, she was no longer there.

The complaint states that when police questioned him about the blood in his car, he said it was "due to groceries that he had transported."

As stated in the complaint, during the interview Baunach stated that they "did not have a body" of Katie Baunach and denied that she was a missing person.

During a search of Baunach's property on the same day, police allegedly found "a fragment of a human mandible with an intact tooth in a fresh burn pile and discovered a blue fifty-gallon barrel near the burn pile which reeked of decaying flesh." Additional human bone fragments were found by law enforcement inside the barrel and around the burn pile.

Baunach, a competitor in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, is also accused of failing to report a death to the medical examiner, cremating a body more than 48 hours after it was discovered, and destroying or concealing physical evidence.

Federal authorities discovered silencers in his home, leading to additional charges of possession of an unregistered weapon.

As of right now, he has zero bond and is being held in the Hendry County Jail. It has been reported by NBC News that a preliminary hearing will take place on October 20 or 21.

  • 12: Idiot Dads Shoot Each others Daughters In Road Rage | Fear Thy Family
Due to a road rage incident in Florida, two fathers have been charged with attempted murder for shooting their daughters.

Two girls were shot in Florida during what appears to have been a road rage incident, and both of the victims' fathers have been arrested on attempted murder charges.

Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper stated in a press conference on Monday that on October 8, William Hale, 36, and Frank Allison, 43, were involved in a driving dispute while transporting their respective daughters in separate vehicles.

A witness reportedly told 911 operators that the two men were driving recklessly and "brake checking" each other. According to the witness, the two men were engaged in a game of "cat and mouse" while driving.
Sheriff Leeper addressed the media and explained the escalation to violence.

For what it's worth, Leeper claims that when Hale pulled up next to Allison's gray Nissan Murano, the latter was in a black Dodge Ram. At this point, Hale yelled at Allison to stop.

According to Leeper, one of Allison's Nissan's passengers made a lewd gesture toward Hale. Then, someone from Hale's car threw a water bottle at Allison's car.

Leeper continued, saying that Allison then pulled out a Sig Saur 45mm handgun, fired one shot at Hale's truck, and then drove off. Hale's 5-year-old daughter was hit in the leg by a bullet.

After hearing gunshots and realizing his daughter had been hit, Hale allegedly followed Allison's truck and fired multiple shots from his Glock 43 9mm handgun. Allison's daughter, who was 14 at the time, was shot in the back and had a lung collapse as a result of the impact.

According to Leeper, the two men ignored a sheriff's car parked on the shoulder and continued driving at high speeds. They stopped the car and began punching each other until a deputy intervened.

The two youngsters needed immediate medical attention and were taken there. It is anticipated that both will make a full recovery from their wounds.

According to the police, Maldonado was arrested on murder charges on Tuesday night and taken to the Denton County Jail. The reports state that she was given a bail of $500,000.
