What that really 30 years ago...? Fuck that makes me feel old. Well while we go and re-evaluate our lives, you just hit play and enjoy the trip back.

WW2 has a few key moments you can point to and say "Yep, that was the moment our victory was decided." In Europe it was the Normandy Invasion. In the Pacific against the Empire of Japan, that turning point was the Battle of Midway. Just 6 months after the Attack on Pearl Harbor, Japan was set to lure our remaining Aircraft Carriers into an ambush and establish total control in the pacific. What stood in their way was a team of American Codebreakers and Intelligence Officers,  3 Aircraft Carriers, and what could only amount to pure heroism and some luck during the course of the battle.

The history of the ancient Scandinavian people is one that has kind of taken on a life of its own over the years. It's been dramatized and embellished to gain popularity, and here's the kicker, none of it was needed. Vikings were an incredible group of people who's influence is still heavily felt today in our modern world. They discovered America wayyyy before ol Christopher "Turns out I was a huge douche" Columbus and interacted with civilizations as far as North Africa. Their shipbuilding and seafaring is legendary and lets not even get started on their warriors. Hit that play button and strap in, to Valhalla we go.

Oh yeah, coming at you hot before the weekend with the big guns. This topic has stirred debates since early man first lit flame to bush and argued over which animal or berries tasted the best. Well we've continued that tradition going head to head on our favorites munchies.

It's bright lights, its big money, it's bet it all on black. Tune in and find out how it all came to be.

In a time when everybody was literally kung fu fighting, one group holds a special place in culture just on sheer badassness. I'm talking the katana wielding, armor wearing, philosopher warriors known commonly as Samurai. From the birth of Samurai culture to the influences still felt in our modern world, we've got you covered.

You're pissed, We're pissed. Like most of you in the USA, thanks to a group of overreaching and religiously motivated Supreme Court Justices, we've been hearing non-stop about Roe v Wade and its reversal. Now while most may have an idea of how this legal precedence protecting a woman's right to privacy and choice regarding abortion came about, we're gonna provide you all the details. We're fired up because we care about the women in our lives and those out there fighting for their right to control their own bodies.

We went long on this one....and well it seems only appropriate that we're covering Homer's most well known works, The Illiad and The Odyssey. In additional to Homer himself, or herself, or maybe it was a bunch of people, there's a lot to unpack with this one. From the mystery that is Homer, to separating the fact from fiction in his works, we're covering the ancient world as only we know how, stoned, curious, and calling bullshit whenever we can.
