A hot start to the month of May (shocking, we know) has Mariners fans wondering how sustainable is this success? The pitching staff has been unreal and yet we are still only at .500. The Mariners feel like they are in a desperate need for some change on their roster. Getting ready to wrap up the first road trip of the season, the Mariners play the Cubs one last time before returning home on Friday. The road trip has seen some ups and downs and against the Cubs it feels as though the Mariners have hit the lowest point of the season. Chris Flexen unfortunately has not filled the shoes of Robbie Ray well enough and lost a 7 run lead to the Cubs on April 11th.
