Homo Superior Podcast

It's a special event with bonus humans Matt Myers and Nikki Herrara! We talk about whether Superman could ever be villain, whether the Green Lantern Corps is morally acceptable, and whether Tom Taylor is a great writer or the greatest writer.

It's a full crew today talking about TV shows starting and canceling, Infinity War and James Bond, Wubba Lubba Dub Pub, Nothing Ventured, and the comic issues: WC Avengers #1, HW: Mystery in Madripoor #4, and a comic round up. They recap their favorite Big Bang Theory moments, terrible fans, and begin their quest within the Venture Brothers universe.

The boys talk some comic endings and beginnings, the John Byrne break; new Gifted promo, Runaways info, Discovery's Spock, and One Punch Man (All S2 2018-19); and the comic issues: Extermination #1, Astonishing Annual, JL #6, Multiple Man #3, and a round up of Dr. Strange #4, Iron Man #3, and Thor #4. They try to figure out when an artist is too awful to love, the benefits of a love of Venture Brothers, and try to not get tricked by more Runaways nonsense.

The gang's all here and the boys go over Blerdcon, the ongoing Guardians drama, DCU vs Disney app shows, and the comic issues (included the restart of the Fantastic Four!). There's some pop-up bar ideas pitched, they pick hills to die on, and Ryan reveals the most shocking wig related news of all time.

It's a full house today as the boys recap news about GotG, Venom, and some other movies; there's some TV show burbles; Brent forces everyone to play Did It Happen!?; and they review the comic issues. The games go perfectly as planned, the Venom trailer doesn't bode well for the DCU, and the scores are tallied.

It's time to recap the wave of trailers released during San Diego Comic Con. They go through Clone Wars and Castlevania and Iron Fist and Fantastic Beast and Glass and Godzilla and Shazam and Aquaman and Titans! They slay those trailers, honey!

The boys continue on without Adam and discuss all of the comic issue, movie, and TV news and then get all into that comic biz. They try to figure out how to best use Carrie Fisher in the next Star Wars movie, Brent learns something horrifying about Madrox, and they all lose it over Wakanda Forever Issue #2.

The boys recap the Disney/Fox buyout, director changes, and future comic/TV releases; they play a new game; and review a bunch of comic book issues from the past two weeks. They realize they'll never be able to have famous careers, the game doesn't go exactly as planned, and, well, everything is all over the map.

Adam and Clarke are still lost trying to find Wolverine as Brent, Ryan, and Khelan talk about the 2018 film Ant-Man and The Wasp. It's really a light hearted tale about people trying to overcome perceptions about criminality and villainy where they recap the importance of Morrissey and Hank Pym being a total jerk to his friends and family and oh god I've taken too much "truth serum"...

It's BRK this time with Adam and Clarke out! They reflect on Steve Ditko and his legacy; new actors in Spider-Man and Star Wars IX; TV news; and the new X title, Shatterstar, and Milestone. Obviously, Steve Ditko admired their musings, everyone gushed over the new Cap, and they find out Khelan has a lot of hate issues.
