Cait, Kat & Bec chat about all things related to our pregnancies and postpartum period. Reflecting on our experiences, what was helpful, how we were best supported post birth and our journeys into motherhood. This conversation all stemmed from our collective goal to support women, especially through this phase of life. We hope you gain something from our discussion. With love x
This episode is a comparison of my (Cait's) two pregnancies and births. Their are 3 main points of focus; accidental vs planned pregnancy, having vs not having gestational diabetes and the impact of stress, hospital vs home birth. I have been asked about my home birth many times, sharing the story here just to normalise the experience, it was just so straightforward. I hope you enjoy me telling my story.
Aligning with our Taking Care of Yourself 14 day Journey that we are currently sharing through our Instagram platform, this episode I (Kat) share with you my simple but much loved way of journaling, as well as guiding you through it with time for you to try it for yourself.
Journaling is one of the most powerful tools for me personally to clear my mind and body of stored emotions, energy and experiences that I am often unaware on the surface that I am holding onto. I hope this little guided experience opens the door for you to find a journaling practice that can do this for you too.
With Love,
Kat xx
Join Cait & I alongside my kind and caring sister Bec as she shares her journey toward truely taking care after herself.
Bec recently presented a talk at an event where she shared on 'How to take care of yourself in early post-partum & early motherhood' and in the process of preparing for this talk she gathered together her thoughts and resources into her own concise tools and tips - which then led her to feeling a real pull to share her story - her journey - the path she has walked toward learning how to really, truely take care of herself. It was our absolute privilege to have her do so through this podcast platform.
Bec leads weekly yoga classes through House of She + a monthly extended Yoga Event - I highly recommend experiencing her magic through attending when you can.
A little note from Bec...
Whilst many of these thoughts, experiences and revelations are my own, I would like to acknowledge the many wonderful friendships which have helped guide me along the way and pay credit to some podcasts and authors which have deeply impacted me on this journey.
Join Kat for a simple yet-oh-so effective guided relaxation.
I take you through the path I have walked through for my first, second and third birth. Now on the other side of all three I share the realisations I can see looking back, like the deeply ingrained self-doubt for what I was capable of. As I write this description for the episode I think of so many things I’d have loved to mention or explore much further like private midwifery care and my homebirth midwife, and my experience going overdue each pregnancy, but alas these topics need and deserve their own episodes to properly explore! Kat xx

We dive back in for an energetic opener for 2023 as we return to the world of podcasting. There is a real buzz between Cait and I as we chat away what we have been up to the last 12 months while we were MIA from podcasting! And we chat on what’s coming up.
Join us as our friend Caitlyn shares with Cait & I about her huge journey through her ongoing physical and mental recovery after being in a head on collision car accident because of a drink-driver. Caitlyn is brave and honest as she shares her extremely emotional story, we are so proud to be her friend and have her on the podcast to share with you all.
We were super lucky to grab time with the wonderful Fallon, the founder of ‘The Just Saying Project’ - an amazing blog and home of local projects and events for our region! We chatted about all things womanhood with Fallon - including the journey into motherhood & beyond that led her into this project. Fallon shares with us about some of the amazing projects and events she has led through JSP, and some of the brilliant women she has collaborated with and we talk about an exciting event coming up in March in Mackay - The JSP Women's Awards!
In this episode we are joined by Kylie. Kylie specialises in coaching and subconscious healing, using the modalities of NLP and timeline therapy to reprogram habits/behaviours. Kylie works mainly with women, with a big focus on helping mums transform out of anxiety /overwhelm and take control of their wellbeing. Kylie outlines her own journey, discussing running an online business with a family whilst also home schooling her kids. We hope you enjoy as much as we did.
