Jason Gillespie, senior director and head of continuous improvement and innovation for transportation at DHL Supply Chain, the supply chain unit of Deutsche Post DHL, will discuss the importance of Environmental, Social and Governmental (ESG) standards to the company, its customers and the relationship between the two. Gillespie said that ESG has become a priority for its customers, virtually all of whom are multi-national businesses. Gillespie will also discuss the challenges in hitting ESG targets as more goods are ordered on-line and delivered by vans or trucks that are big spewers of carbon emissions.
