2019 has arrived, and with it, another opportunity to enjoy life, grow, and focus on the future.
One of my anchoring quotes for this year comes from Carl Jung: "I am not what happened to me, I get to choose who I become."
That might be hard to believe for those of us who constantly focus on the past, but it's true: Your past doesn't have to define your future. By drawing on courage, vulnerability, and your resilience, you can become whoever you want to be.

Years ago my daughter's pre-school (yes I said years ago) would celebrate each child's birthday by saying goodbye to their old age and hello to their new age. I loved this and have been using this to move from one ending to a new beginning.
You and I are doing it for the New Year!
In today's short BONUS episode I give you three things to do to close out 2018 and enter 2019. It will take you 15 minutes. Set a timer and don't go over 20 minutes MAX!
Before ENOUGH, Steve didn't realize he could change. Even though he's 54 years old and very intelligent, he didn't know that he could chnage the way he did things, the way he reacted to things. Instead one of his standard behaviors was to numb with his phone and the computer.
Sound familiar?
Steve shares his journey with you to what is possible when one commits to oneself.
If this is possible for Steve...what is possible for you?
Vulnerability is becoming a common buzzword these days. You can hear it on TV shows like Scandal and Nashville. You pick up a book and the word is there.
Why all the talk? In today's podcast I discuss why vulnerability is here and how it's vital for you to live the life you really, really, really want!
WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVERAre you a people pleaser? That's a nice way to call it instead of my favorite term of "approval whore."
Today I've invited one of my clients to talk about her journey with life coaching and how she went from an "approval whore" to the ability to own her voice even if that meant an important person in her life would hate her.
You are getting the back stage pass of what happens and what it's really like to transform and become the best version of you. Rose discusses her fears about doing this as well as her successes. Check out the show http://bit.ly/2UJj2w2

I used to believe once I "arrived" I would no longer have problems. If I planned, achieved, did it all perfectly there would no longer be any messes.
One would believe this promise of no messes would create bliss in our lives. The reality is that it creates tremendous pain + frustration.
In this episode I talk about the beauty of the mess and how you will empower your life by living with this re-frame. The mess is actually suppose to happen and there is so much for you to gain.

"Why is Koren talking about FAKE UGGS??"
Growing up poor with a lot of shame around money, Mocassin shoes and UGG boots were a big teacher for me. In this podcast I talk about money shame, fitting in and belonging and the lessons you will learn from overcoming the shaming from our cultural beliefs.
