Most families are going to have the tightest budget they have ever had this Christmas, including myself. Interest rate rises, inflation and the cost of food is really eating into our budgets and Christmas has a new perspective. However even though it will be more grounded, humble and quite possibly more simple, it doesn't mean that we have to skip the fun this Christmas or it be any less special. In fact, I think this tightening of budgets will give us a much needed reset and refresh of what the festive season is really about, which is connection, gratitude and time.
