Also, while you were speaking, I thought of one of my favorite spiritual authors Jay Christiamershi, and something he would say is, We're always in an internal state of revolution, you should always be internally ready for a complete change. Whenever you say you're going to try to do something or try to form a habit. When our emotions want us to do something, we just do it. Don't put it off, just do it. Make yourself accountable.
