In our generation, most of us live lives where our schedules are jam packed, busyness is a badge of honor, and stress and anxiety are no stranger to most us. We also talk about how stressed we are on a regular basis. When I talk to clients and patients, nearly every single one talks about how much of an impact stress plays on her life. We know the term self-care, but many of us don't even know exactly what that means, we view it as selfish or lavish, or we can't even find the time to take care of ourselves. Here's the thing with stress in your life – you CAN overcome stressful, anxiety provoking things. It doesn't have to get the best of you and make you physically feel terrible as well.
