Lt. Shawn Harper is a police officer with Meridian PD and worked to formulate school lockdown protocol in Idaho. The thought of violence on school campuses is horrifying, but after hearing him talk about what law enforcement is trained to do and what I, as a parent, should and SHOULD NOT do was incredibly important and comforting.
