I’ve never really opened up about being bisexual until now. It feels great to talk about it! I’m also realizing how important visibility really is. Opening up with you has allowed me to further develop as a whole individual as well as live a more honest life. Love you!

Sharing this separation with the world has been HARD! And it feels like everywhere I turn someone is judging how I'm reacting to it. I'm not reacting to it. I'm IN IT. I keep reminding myself, everyone can think whatever they want, it doesn’t matter! They don't know the whole story. It’s time to stop listening to other people’s opinions and start following our own intuition! And never forget you don’t have to handle things how everyone EXPECTS you to! Just do YOU.

Here is what I’ve learned: your happiness and your self worth is an INSIDE JOB! Self love has not come easy! I used to believe the meanest comments and critiques about myself. It stops now! Defining yourself by your job, your relationship, your looks, ANYTHING, is a losing game! That is conditional love. NO THANKS! I am embracing who I am and loving what I do NOW. Nothing else matters.

I've put a STOP to ignoring my friends, family, and community! My relationship was all consuming. It overtook my mind almost like an addiction! But now I’m no longer allowing my romantic relationship to become my WHOLE life. I am finding the POWER in reaching out to and connecting with my women's group, my sponsor, and myself. Acceptance is a BEAUTIFUL thing! No seriously, I’ve been taking life as it is this week. Nothing more and nothing less!
