In my early twenties I was admittedly a fat slut. I'm not embarrassed or ashamed by this but I am just realising now that my low self esteem and toxic body image issues did heavily impact my dating life.

Back then I slept with any man that showed me any interest because I thought I was unworthy of love and attention due to being fat. I felt like I had to be grateful for any guy that could possibly find me attractive.

During today's episode I wondered:

• Why are the words "fat" and "slut" so offensive?
• Why did I fear men's rejection and crave their attention?
• Would I still be a "slut" if I had better self-confidence?
