We had the honor of sharing memories of a wonderful man, Dr. Bob Pick, with his good friend and our honorary co-host, Dr. Alan Stern.
There was no one quite like Bob. While most people live for the weekend, waiting for the stress of the week to finally be over, Bob lived for Mondays. He was always ready to tackle whatever came his way with a smile on his face.
As Dr. Stern said so beautifully, Bob’s purpose in life was to make life better for others. He always put everyone else first and considered every person individually, always making time to get to know them and show them he cared. There will never be anyone in the dental education community quite like Bob.
We are so honored to have had him as part of our own story as a friend, mentor & recurring guest on the show. His presence will always be part of the dental community & we will never stop learning from him.
Bob was passionate about finding an end to cancer. If you’re able, please consider contributing in Bob’s honor to the cancer center programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the hospital that saved his life: https://nmgive.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=1316
May we all honor his memory by looking for the “purple cow WOW!” in every single day💜
