The UK’s Independent Podcast Awards announced its 2025 shortlist. The event is on Oct 15 in London.

Of note (for all podcast awards, everywhere!) the shortlist page links to an “Independent Podcasts room on Apple Podcasts”.

SiriusXM’s Earwolf, which suffered layoffs earlier in the year, closed its New York studio last week. Jared O’Connell took a photograph of the autographed signature studio table before it was taken away. He links to a full resolution image for your zooming pleasure.

In Sweden, podcast platform Podspace is revealing new hires after the company has recently reached profitability. It also plans to expand across Europe and the US.
