Hi Everybody! This week we welcome Dr. Delia Chiaramonte MD, MS. She's a friend and colleague, and practices integrative palliative medicine – a mind-body-spirit approach for patients with serious illness and their families. In her opinion Integrative medicine and palliative medicine share so many similarities in philosophy that they clearly belong together.

Delia is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Palliative Medicine and also certified by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. Currently, she is Division Chief of Integrative & Palliative Medicine at Gilchrist and  Medical Director of outpatient integrative & palliative medicine for Greater Baltimore Medical Center. For 10 years she was associate director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is mom to two amazing young adult women and wife to a "quirky, hard-working and generally wonderful radiologist"
