Hi everyone!
This weeks episode I'm discussing International Women's Day, feminism and racism within the feminist movement.
I fully understand and acknowledge that I am by no means the most marginalised woman in society and it is extremely important to listen to the voices of black women, brown women, trans women, asian women, disabled women and ALL other types of women. Tackling gender inequality will never work if you only focus on white feminism and fail to address the oppression faced by ethnic minority women and women lacking other privileges, so DO NOT STOP HERE. I do not speak perfectly on these issues but I would rather speak imperfectly about them and be corrected if needs be, rather than not speak about them at all.
Thanks so much for your continued support.
