He won a quarter of a million dollars ($250,000) on a scratch ticket from North Carolina in 2019. In this interview, he discusses what it was like to win the lottery and how he used the winnings to feed the homeless. However, Roberto Mendoza's incredible story goes much deeper.

Born in El Salvador, Roberto Mendoza grew up hungry in a war-torn country. He remembers turning on the water and witnessing air come out of the tap. He survived a kidnapping before eventually winding up in the USA where he became a renowned chef. He has cooked for movie stars, world leaders and 4 US presidents!

Roberto Mendoza is interviewed by Timothy Schultz, who is also a lottery winner and podcaster with Bullhead Entertainment, LLC. In 1999, he won the Powerball before going back to college to study journalism and broadcast news. He’s now combining his experience to launch this podcast.
