On todays podcast I am happy to be hosting Robin Powell, Head of Client Education at RockWealth & editor of the investing and personal finance blog, Evidence-Based Investing. 

On the podcast today we talk about the medias conflict of interest, getting the help of the Taxman and the 20 Rules of Personal Finance. 

Robin is an award-winning journalist and producer, author, investor advocate and content consultant. He is also a founding partner of RockWealth Cheshire, which serves both private and institutional investors in Cheshire, London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.

For most of Robins career in mainstream journalism, he worked in broadcast news and current affairs. For 14 years he was a news reporter and documentary maker for ITV Central and network ITV News and ITV Sport. Robin went freelance in 2005, and spent seven years working mainly for Sky News and for The Politics Show on BBC1.

Based in the UK, Robin has specialist expertise in financial services, particularly the investing industry.
