Scott Phillips is the head economist from Motley Fool and host of The Good Oil on LiSTNR. He joins Flan, Ali and Spida to explain to us in “normal language” what the interest rate rises mean to the everyday person.

Scott says “it’s going to be pretty brutal” with another rate rise making it the 9th rate rise in 10 months, he says this won’t be the last one either.

A lot of people are saying this will die down in August, however, Scott says, “nobody knows we just need to cross our fingers”.
