The tension before the big race you could feel in the air. Two birds, one race - and a chance at immortality.
For this year's "Race That Stops The Station," Jay & Dave raced homing pigeons over a 30km distance. Although there were a couple of 'fly-bys' where the pigeons circled the start and finish lines, the ultimate winner between Phar-Flap and Kate Wings-Let was the champion mare Kate Wings-Let.
It's not often Dave wins this prestigious race...

In the movie "Back To The Future II," mad scientist Doc Emmett programmed the Delorean time machine to jump to October 21, 2015. So, this morning Jay & Dave flashed back to 1985 for the entire show: the music, the fashion, the equipment and even the phrases..... radical!

Wow, what a milestone - 1000 Shows! This morning we wanted to share the occasion with as many people as we possibly could. So, we jumped in the Sea Cruiser, and had our Promotions Manager drive us around from Sarina to Eimeo and many place inbetween - while doing the entire show live!
While driving home earlier in the week, Dave noticed a guy driving along Nebo Rd in a car emblazed with the colours and logo of the Nth QLD Toyota Cowboys. Well, the boys put the call out for a bit of help and the call was answered. Brandon McCowan is the proud owner of the "Cowboys Car," and Jay & Dave surprised him this morning.
