The two discuss the inflation versus deflation argument as well as Jeff’s opposition to the bitcoin narrative. Jeff dives into how the new system and existing system continue to compete against one another and what he sees happening moving forward. Jay shares why and how he buys bitcoin, and Jeff divulges why he believes bitcoin is telling the truth about the technology deflation we’re seeing everywhere. The two wrap up the conversation by dispelling some common bitcoin myths, discussing whether the government could and would ever intervene, and finally, Jeff shares the real reason he’s involved in bitcoin.
