Jessica White Plume grew up herding buffalo throughout the plains of North and South Dakota. As an indigenous Lakota, Jessica has dedicated her life to help continue the connection between horse and human throughout her culture. Jessica earned her Doctorate of Psychology before realizing she was wanted to be a boots-on-the-ground pillar for change in her community, and through her work with horses she is providing opportunities for indigenous peoples to connect with horses. In this episode, Jessica and Warwick discuss the connection to land, water, and animals that indigenous peoples all over the world have, as well as open up some deeply powerful emotions and conversations.
