Doug and Joel discuss the recent CCS research proposal and how they were able to prove that it is possible to implement and replace the current zero knowledge proof mentioned in our last interview at the 36C3, with a new and more efficient cryptographic primitive all while still achieving the same goal of trustlessly and anonymously converting monero to bitcoin and vice versa. They also chat about the critical steps & what needs to be done moving forward to help bring the project to fruition.
