How can children learn better? John Hattie, one of the world's most famous educational researcher, is investigating this question. In his 2009 meta-study, he showed how learning can be made visible and measurable.

For Hattie, the focus is on teachers' attitudes, their passion, and their ability to motivate students, among other things. That's what makes a good teacher. But how can these skills be tested and promoted?
