In this week's episode, we introduce one of our hosts.  This is Kate's story.

Kate doesn't come from a traditional horticultural background.  She brings with her a decade of major events experience having worked at various community arts projects and as an event manager at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Kate's married to Andy and they run Urban Herbs together.  In 2023 Kate became a full-time employee at Urban Herbs.  Her route into horticulture is certainly not a traditional one and in this episode, we explore Kate's journey toward falling love with the world of growing, being a woman working in horticulture and the realization that having a relationship with growing is KEY to personal wellbeing.
