Shared Lunch

Kids & Money with Nigel Latta

Listen Later

New Zealand psychologist and author Nigel Latta joins Sharesies' co-founder Brooke Roberts in the second episode of our "Kids & Money" series. In this episode, we discuss the importance of teaching kids about money, including concepts of saving and how temperament impacts a child's approach to finances. Nigel shares insights from his experience educating his own children about money and explains why conveying values to children affects their behavior, including financial decisions.

In this special "Kids & Money" summer series, hosted by Sharesies' co-founder Brooke Roberts, we offer a slate of conversations about how to engage kids in financial discussions. Topics range from strategies to maintain their interest, to lessons on investing that children can apply throughout their lives.
