Lakers Lounge

The guys discuss Anthony Davis' future in all this and then celebrate Nico Harrison, Lakers legend. Anthony has an idea on how to honor the man who giftwrapped Luka Doncic.

Anthony is joined by Raj to break down that kinda/sorta important win from last night. The Lakers needed to bounce back and do so soundly. For the first half of the game, it didn't look like it was definitely going to happen, then they finally started defending in the second half. The guys talk Rui's shooting, Austin's impact, Luka Ball and more.

Anthony and Raj recap a fun win and talk about their expectations heading in. They also spend some time on Rui Hachimura, who continues his incredible offensive start. Anthony then discusses Austin's importance to this team's offensive approach.

Raj threw some bait out there and Anthony took it. He rants about the east as there are now somehow three teams sitting at 1-9 at the same time. The guys also talked about an underrated way Austin Reaves helps this team.

The Lakers dropped their first no-show of the season Saturday night and performances like that (and the reaction to them) can say a lot about a team and its coach. Anthony explains how, then dives into the mailbags.

JJ Redick clearly had a problem with how the Lakers approached that blowout loss to Atlanta, but failed to mention the role coaches play in a team's approach to a game.

Anthony got a question about his take from earlier in the show about JJ Redick's pressers and explains what smart coaches use that time for.

One of The Lounge audience's absolute favorites makes a return trip and boy this episode did not let you down.

Anthony and Aaron discuss the top tier of title contenders, which features the OKC Thunder and Denver Nuggets, though maybe not in that order.

Aaron and Anthony discuss Anthony's second tier of title contenders, which features the Lakers. Let's just say Aaron isn't concerned about adding LeBron James to this group. Also, Houston is good.
