Ram began his business education early in his life while working in the family shoe shop in northern India. As a young engineer, his bosses recognized his business talent and encouraged him to develop it. He went on to earn MBA and doctorate degrees from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with high distinction and was a Baker Scholar. He has written over 30 books that have sold more than 4 million copies in more than a dozen languages. Three were Wall Street Journal bestsellers, and Execution, co-authored with former Honeywell CEO Larry Bossidy, spent more than 150 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list.
