Cadence’s first birth was sabotaged by unlicensed medical midwives who pitched themselves as traditional and hands-off. That birth ended in a hospital transfer, wrought with dehumanizing treatment, and heartbreak. After a 1:1 session with Emilee, Cadence began to unravel her first birth, and found motivation to rewrite her story with her second.
