Happy Monday friends! The past dozen episodes I’ve talked primarily about legal concepts that you as an entrepreneur should know and should be utilizing in your business. BUT, I also am a business coach for photographers, wedding industry professionals, and creatives. Today is my first episode all about business and to start our journey I’m going wayyyy back to the beginning of when I started my own photography biz 8 years ago and what that looked like. We are talking about what drives me forward- my own biz motto “Find the Niche, Fill the Niche, and Kill the Niche” and how it can be implemented in your own business. You guy’s my coaching is different from anyone out there in the online world because not only am I a coach but I am also an attorney and attorneys do NOT think like other people. So let’s dive into my motto and some biz talk. Success and more dolla bills are on your horizon. Are you ready?

Today, we are talking all how to hire someone onto your team the right way. As small business owners, entrepreneurs, and creatives, we need help managing our businesses as we grow! At a certain point, it just isn’t possible to get all the work done by yourself. And, when hiring help, the biggest dilemma you will face is: should I hire individuals as independent contractors or employees? This is one of the biggest questions I get on my Instagram and Legal Paige private facebook community. I thought it was time to do an official podcast episode on this topic to get you all the information you need!! Make sure to tune in and listen carefully to the differences between these two worker designations because it could cost you and turn into a huge headache with the IRS if you aren’t handling your workers correctly. Are you ready? Let’s do this!

Friends! This is one of my favorite things to talk about… contract clauses! Haha, I’m sure you’re not as excited as I am, but I promise you that once you listen in to these episodes you’ll be much happier than before and a smarter business owner because I’ll easily explain the most important clauses you need in your service contract and why they’re important to have. I’m also going to break this episode up into a two part episode series. Today is part 1 and next week will be part 2, because I’m not about “the overwhelm” and want you to have some time to digest the first set of clauses that I am going to talk about today before we jump into the next set. So, TUNE in NOW for part 1 and make sure you also listen to part 2 coming up next week!

Grab your favorite beverage and let's dive into these must-have contracts!
Hey hey! Happy Monday! This episode is a BIG one. It’s one of those foundational episodes that I will refer back to time and time again. We are diving DEEP into the three main types of business structures and tax designations for entrepreneurs and what each looks like. I am talking about tax implications, liability, risks involved, and what my suggestions and views are on each. This is a realllllly important episode, so I hope you tune in and potentially take notes along the way. Also, feel free to listen back to this episode every time you think you may need to change your business structure. Alrighty Legal Paigers, let's do this!
This week the topic is all about shifting mindset strategies for small business owners. I have enlisted the help of my friend Dondrea Owens. Dondrea is a CPA and Chief Financial Officer at The Creative’s CFO. Her core mission is to educate and empower women to confidently make financial decisions in their businesses.
It’s time to get a handle on your negative money mindsets as a small biz owner and shift them into more positive money mindset Strats so you have a better grasp on your business funds.

Today on the show, I discuss how to work with your friends and be legal doing it!!
Trust me, I know how challenging it is to be an entrepreneur as I am one myself and built a photography business from the ground up. One thing that has helped me throughout the years is my friends in the business.
I have tons of femalepreneurs across the country that have been a guiding force behind my growing business. With that, I’ve learned the ins-and-outs of dealing with friends in the industry, trading services, and effectively communicating with colleagues when working together!!
TUNE IN! Let's chat about how to work with your friends the right and legal way! xo
